Sikhs celebrated "Gurupurah" - Guru Nanak's birth anniversary. The gurdwara on Kensingston Road, Bangalore is one of the biggest shrines in the state, was thronged by devotees offering prayers and meetings community members.
Prayers were being offered with bhajans and chantings from the holy Guru Granth Sahib offered throughout the day. Devotees also offered shawls for the holy grave and involved in community service. LANGAS is a tradition where devotees are offered free food.
